We have cordless phones (one with an answering machine), large numbered phones for those with hearing and vision loss, caption phones, and mobile devices that pair with your cell phone for better communication. These can be used at home or wherever your cell phone goes.

DHHSF is partnered with Florida Telecommunications Relay, Inc. (FTRI). FTRI is a statewide non-profit 501(c)3 organization that administers the Specialized Telecommunications Equipment Distribution Program for citizens of Florida. As a designated regional distribution center, DHHSF provides the equipment and training to residents who are at least three (3) years of age or older and certified as hard of hearing, deaf, deaf/blind, or speech impaired.
This solves a lot of problems for me. The "slow" feature is particularly useful in several cases. Thank you.
