Communication Access & Advocacy
We help individuals understand their rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and advocate for effective communication access in healthcare, education, employment, and public services. We also provide information about available communication options and community resources.
Employment Services
Our Employment Specialists assist job seekers with career exploration, resume writing, job search assistance, interview preparation, workplace accommodations, job coaching, and employment support through Vocational Rehabilitation. Our goal is to help individuals obtain and maintain meaningful employment.
Florida Telecommunications Relay, Inc. (FTRI)
We assist eligible Florida residents with applying for specialized communication equipment through the Florida Telecommunications Relay program and provide training on how to use approved devices.
Mental Health Counseling
We provide culturally and linguistically appropriate mental health counseling for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, Late-Deafened, and Speech-Impaired individuals. Counseling supports emotional well-being, stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, family concerns, and other personal challenges in an accessible communication environment.
Sign Language Classes
Our Signing for Everyday Living (SFEL) program offers beginner sign language classes for individuals, families, businesses, and community members who want to improve communication with Deaf and Hard of Hearing people.
